Take the SIM-card out, and find the phones IMEI code (the phones serial number), by enter the code

Nokia C2-00 Not Charging Problem Solution

Here's a solution for Nokia 2700 classic with display back light problem and shows a dark screen display.
If you already tried replacing the LCD module but still the problem still exists, you may refer to this solution below for it shows some tips on how to fix the problem.
Locate the components below on the 2700c PCB board and do some test and check up procedures.
Note: This solution may works if the keypad backlight LED is working and only the LCD has no illuminating light on it.
From the LCD pin connector trace the display backlight LED positive (LED+) and LED negative (LED-) supply voltage connection line paths down to the components where it is being connected. There is a test spots on the PCB where you can also trace its connection.
Then check also the resistor and the capacitor near the LCD pin connector and then replace if found faulty or damaged. You don't need to check the LED driver chip unless if the keypad LED is working OK.
If both the keypad and the display backlight doesn't work, the problem may possibly lies on the LED driver IC. Check the 3.7V first on the filter coil before attempting to replace the LED driver chip of the 2700c.

Then check also the resistor and the capacitor near the LCD pin connector and then replace if found faulty or damaged. You don't need to check the LED driver chip unless if the keypad LED is working OK.
If both the keypad and the display backlight doesn't work, the problem may possibly lies on the LED driver IC. Check the 3.7V first on the filter coil before attempting to replace the LED driver chip of the 2700c.
Nokia 2690 Display Light Problem Solution
Here's the Nokia 2690 hardware solution for LCD display light problem. This problem may result to show a dark or black screen display for there is no illuminating backlight LED on the back of the LCD screen.
To fix the dark screen display problem, you may first try to replace or install a new LCD screen module, to easily confirm if the LCD's backlight LEDs were still working or already damaged.
You can also check the LED's using the multimeter if you can manage without damaging the LCD flex connector.

Here's a revived solution for Nokia 2630 No network service found problem. This problem may happens if the device suffered water damaged and or heavily dropped. The solution below shows the Nokia 2630 RF (radio frequency) circuit. This holds as the transceivers of the data into the airwaves during transmission, and if this circuit will breakdown or being damaged it will result to NO NETWORK Signal problem issues.

Try to upgrade into higher version and write a good PM files.
